8mm/ L hook

Stitches used/ abbreviations:

Pattern:
Ch 28
Row 1: 1 dc (1sc USA) into the 2nd ch from the hook, 1 dc (1sc USA) into every ch to end, 1 ch, turn

Row 2: 1 dc (1sc USA) into each st to end, 1 ch, turn

Repeat row 2 for 40 more rows, placing markers i.e. a paper clips are excellent at end end of rows 16 & 32

Join side seams by placing beginning row ends to the markers for row 32 (the fold will be along the markers for row 16. Sew/ weave sides together. Weave in all ends to finish.

The bag is decorated with a web rose & straight stitch, using cut plastic bags
Experiment - adding surface decorations, buttons, beads, and fastenings to your bag.
