Filet Crochet - Reading the graph pt.2
Heart graph
For 1 X 1 filet every square will equal 2 ch plus the pattern starts with a block so add 3 ch (if pattern started with a space add 4 ch)
13 squares X 2 ch = 26 + 3 end ch = 29 sts

For 1 X 2 filet every square will equal 3 ch plus the pattern starts with a block so add 3 ch (if pattern started with a space add 5 ch)
13 squares X 3 ch = 39 + 3 end ch = 42 sts

For 1 X 3 filet every square will equal 4 ch plus the pattern starts with a block so add 3 ch (if pattern started with a space add 6 ch)
13 squares X 4 ch = 52 + 3 end ch = 55 sts

For 1 X 4 filet every square will equal 5 ch plus the pattern starts with a block so add 3 ch (if pattern started with a space add 7 ch)
13 squares X 5 ch = 65 + 3 end ch = 68 sts

It does not matter what type of filet you are making. The count up is the number of rows you need to produce this design. 12 squares from bottom to top = 12 rows
